Yoga & Horsemanship
Yoga and horsemanship retreats are offered periodically throughout the year and typically include 1 yoga class and a horsemanship session each day. These sessions vary each day, offering a range of experiences from bareback riding to ground and mounted work. You’ll also enjoy talks on horse communication techniques and equine therapy, with each session designed to deepen your connection with the horses and enhance your personal growth.

Trek and Train
Guests receive one riding lesson or horsemanship session and one trek daily. Riders are given the opportunity to ride several different types of horses and benefit from small group lessons. Each rider gets time to tack up, brush and care for their horse before and after every ride.

Bring Your Horse on Holiday offers a unique and relaxing retreat for horse owners and their equine companions. Nestled in the scenic Slieve Aughty mountains in County Galway, the centre provides comfortable accommodation, miles of off-road trails, and quality stabling facilities. Guests can enjoy a peaceful rural setting, home-cooked organic meals, and the freedom to explore nature on horseback at their own pace.

Foraging
Embark on a foraging adventure through the surrounding fields and along hedgerows of Slieve Aughty Centre. Discover which wild weeds, leaves, and flowers are edible. Taste dandelions and daisies, and learn how to eat a raw nettle leaf without getting stung! Make a wild herbal tea with freshly harvested plants. Sample a wild food treat and be awakened to the wild food all around you!
