When we reach adulthood, we often look back with fondness on memories of carefree, playful times in our childhood.  For over 20 years children have been creating these moments at Slieve Aughty, where the sound of children laughing mixes with the clatter of hooves.  Through a variety of riding experiences children improve their riding, gain confidence and build community.  Families return to Slieve Aughty year after year to reconnect with people and favourite ponies.

Children's Horse Riding Holidays in Ireland are designed for children ages 5-12 on holidays with their families.   Parents are free to participate in riding activities with their children or spend some quality time with a spouse, small child, or take some time for themselves.  Native language speakers are usually available and children are supervised at all times.
