DESCRIPTION:Natural hoof care for horse owners course \nThis tried and tested course covers the basic theory and practice of Natural hoof care (barefoot trimming). This is a practical workshop which includes demonstrations and hands on work with real horses! It is therefore only suitable for horse owners and people who regularly work with horses. \nBy the end of this course\, participants will have the knowledge and the confidence needed to keep their own horses hooves trimmed and healthy. Natural hoof care\, also known as barefoot trimming\, is keeping and working horses without shoes. Learn how to safely identify and harvest these common plants\, and explore the food and medicinal uses of these Autumn offerings – tis the season for berries\, nuts\, roots and fruits. You might even change your perspective on ‘weeds’! Suitable for beginner foragers and non-beginners\, gardeners\, foodies\, and nature lovers alike. \nTea/coffee and a scone included in the price\, plus tasters of some foraged goodies at the end of the walk. Suitable for adults and children 8yrs+\, €35/€20 respectively\, €15 deposit per participant to book your place\, the remainder is payable on the day. And there is lovely food in our restaurant.\nWe will be doing a forest clean up at 3 for every body who wish to come out with us ‘you are welcome’ bags and gloves provided.\n\nThis Event is a FREE day out!\nBring along the family and learn to love your place

Come along to play with the Summer archetypes\, revel in the long days and sing by the campfire to honour the sun. \nOver two days together we will: \n~learn and practice foraging techniques\, get to know some wild plants and create our own wild food preparations to take home. \n~learn to connect to the landscape through our bodies and our senses\, cultivating our ecological selves\, and deepening our relationship with place. \n~honour and tend to our inner selves\, exploring the truth of our relationship to life \n~learn about the traditional Wheel of the Year and symbolic\, archetypal and real life applications that can assist us all year round \n~practice our own harvesting – in our lives\, in our world\, and create our own ‘right relationship’ to abundance and gratitude. \n ~rest\, restore and re-enliven our senses\, mind and body\, through mindful movement and meditation practices and spending time outdoors\, coming back to our own True Nature. \nThis is a weekend for anyone who is curious about humanity’s healthy role in our world’s ecosystems\, and the magic that can happen when we return to a deeper relationship with the living world. \nWe will explore wild gratitude and celebration as radical acts for difficult times\, always grounding in the Here and Now. Advanced camp will focus on cross country jumping and competition riding while the theory component will get into detail about feeds and feeding\, worming\, stable construction and design\, best breeds for various kinds of competition\, and handling and caring of foals. \nThe final day camp will meet at Flower Hill Equestrian Centre for an hour and a half of cross country riding!!! The fee for Flower Hill is included in the camp price and is €70 of the cost. Learn how to safely identify and harvest these common plants\, and explore the food and medicinal uses of these early Summer offerings. You might even change your perspective on ‘weeds’! Suitable for beginner foragers and non-beginners\, gardeners\, foodies\, and nature lovers alike. \nTea/coffee and a scone included in the price\, plus tasters of some foraged goodies at the end of the walk. Suitable for adults and children 8yrs+\, €35/€20 respectively\, €15 deposit per participant to book your place\, the remainder is payable on the day. Available Monday to Friday July  3rd to 7th\, 2023.\nDesigned for beginners to learn the basics of riding and horse care. \nA day of pony camp may include: \n\nHorse Health\nGrooming\nTack and Saddlery\nFeeding\nSafety around horses\nArena riding lessons\nHorse trekking\nPony Games\nVaulting\nNatural Horsemanship\nVisit to the Enchanted Forest\nArt and Crafts\nFun with ponies\nand more……!\n\n*subject to availability. \nDetails\nPony camp must be booked in advance.   Advanced payment required to secure your place. Camp is from 10 am to 2 pm.  Bookings can be made for a single day or multiple days. Camp is suitable for  5 – 14-year old beginners. \nWhat to bring\nWe recommend children bring a change of clothes\, snacks\, and drinks (no single use plastics please). Water bottles can be refilled at the centre. Rain coat and boots are essential!  Bring suncream for sunny days \nWhat to wear\nChildren should wear boots with small heels and long flexible and comfortable trousers. We recommend layering clothing and bring a rain jacket every day. DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a leisurely morning adventure meeting the local hedgerow plants with me\, Olwyn Williams. Learn how to safely identify and harvest these common plants\, and explore the food and medicinal uses of these wonderful wild Spring offerings – greens\, fresh shoots and cleansing tonic plants. You might even change your perspective on ‘weeds’! Suitable for beginner foragers and non-beginners\, gardeners\, foodies\, and nature lovers alike. \nTea/coffee and a scone included in the price\, plus tasters of some foraged goodies at the end of the walk. Suitable for adults and children 8yrs+\, €35/€20 respectively\, €15 deposit per participant to book your place\, the remainder is payable on the day. Please let me know if you suffer from any food allergies or sensitivities. \nBe advised that you will receive an email a few days before the date of the walk with details of meeting points etc\, please make sure you have access to the email address you provide to make this booking.
