We will spend the morning outdoors learning winter tree identification\, foraging safety\, respectful harvesting practices\, and discussing the many food and medicinal uses for several common plants. \nYou will harvest something from the hedgerows and make a wild food preparation to take home – perhaps a herbal vinegar\, an infused alcohol or an elixir. \nThe workshop will close with the sharing of a delicious lunch where you can sample some wild food preparations made by Olwyn and learn how to make them yourself.  We will make a fresh pesto to eat with lunch. \nBio\nOlwyn is a forager and wild food tutor based in east Co.
