SUMMARY:Hawthorn and Spring Herbs Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Come and drink in the joys of Spring on the doorstep of Bealtaine. as we seek Hawthorn and other wild herbs of the Slieve Aughty region. We will collect leaves and flowers of diverse edible and medicinal plants to make salad\, tonic\, tincture and tea. \nThe workshop will be led by Edward Blain. Edward has been gathering wild herbs for making food and medicine for 14 years. Having trained with experienced foragers in England he has accumulated over 14 years years of professional experience collecting herbs and mushrooms for restaurants and farmers markets in England\, the United States and Ireland. \nEdward has a passion for edible and medicinal herbs.
