Intensive Training Riding Holiday - A training holiday is an intensive riding programme focused on improving the rider's position and effectiveness. Guests receive lessons (dressage, showjumping or cross country) twice a day for a total of 14 hours in the saddle. Riders are given the opportunity to ride several different types of horses and benefit from instruction during private or small group lessons. Training holidays are available for riders of all levels who wish to improve their riding significantly in a short period of time or sharpen their competitive edge.
Guests arrive on Saturday and begin the week with a 2 hour ride in the forest on Sunday with all other guests participating in riding programs. On Monday morning, the training programme begins with a flatwork lesson in the sand arena, allowing the instructor to assess the rider's ability and determine areas of focus for the coming week. The following lessons will be a combination of cross country, showjumping and dressage, depending on the rider's needs and the weather. If the training holiday is more than one week, a forest trek will be offered (with other guests) on Saturday, and Sunday will be a day off for horse and rider. A training holiday can be combined with English Instruction.
